Our stay at this Airbnb in Puerto Rico was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. I stayed here with 3 of my friends, and from the moment we arrived everything exceeded expectations. The place was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as described — if not better.
What really stood out was the host’s communication and responsiveness. Any time we had a question or needed anything, they responded almost instantly and made sure everything was taken care of right away. That level of hospitality made the trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free.
The location, atmosphere, and overall experience were amazing, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We’ll absolutely be rebooking the next time we come back to Puerto Rico. Highly recommend!

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im Otium rundum zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und alles hat wunderbar funktioniert.
Der Kontakt war jederzeit reibungslos. Auf Fragen wurde immer schnell und freundlich geantwortet, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Besonders toll war auch die Lage, da der Strand praktisch direkt um die Ecke war und schnell zu erreichen war.
Insgesamt war es ein wirklich sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Overall good experience .floors were unfortunately dirty, but location was amazing. Pool was a plus and for the most part would stay with them again, although the price felt a little high. Would love if the windows were treated so I could have had curtains open unfortunately they had to remain closed if you wanted any privacy being on the first floor, anyone walking by can see into the entire apartment and bedrooms. Communication was pretty good and fast.

Great location just a few blocks from the beach, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The place itself was clean and comfortable, and overall we had a nice stay. The only downside was the check-in process—everything had to be done through a third-party app, which required uploading a photo ID and a lot of personal information. It felt a bit inconvenient and unnecessary. Aside from that, it was a solid experience.

This place was an incredible location to everything needed for a great vacation in PR. Literally seconds away from the beach, grocery store, gas station, and restaurants. It is a private neighborhood, so it is gated after a certain time which makes it even more secured when being picked up and dropped off. Communicating with the staff was amazing and they were truly extremely helpful. The house was beautiful and balcony is much bigger than the pictures on the app. Will definitely come back again.

Pro: This place was very nice and in a great location especially if you aren’t renting a vehicle and plan to explore San Juan. We also felt safe here as well.
Semi-Con: Parking was a bit hectic because it’s in the middle of Old San Juan, but after riding around a few times, we found parking right outside of the unit each evening.
Con: I will say that we had ongoing issues with the toilet on the first level leaking to the point where it was coming into the living room area. I notified the host and they were super responsive, however, they stated a tech would come out to deliver a mop and extra towels and they did not come until the next day, after messaging them to express my frustration, almost an hour after they said they’d be there. Once there, the tech advised this had been an ongoing issue. I also would mention the heavy mildew smell, I assume was coming from the bathroom.
Other than that, the stay was good and again the location was great.

Nuestra estadía en este Airbnb en San Juan fue excelente. La ubicación del apartamento es muy conveniente y fácil de llegar, además de estar en un entorno limpio, organizado y agradable. Cerca hay varios restaurantes y lugares muy buenos, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más cómoda y entretenida.
El apartamento estaba exactamente como se muestra en las fotografías: muy limpio, organizado y bien cuidado. Los baños son amplios y todo el espacio se siente cómodo y acogedor.
También queremos destacar la excelente comunicación con las personas encargadas del apartamento. Siempre fueron muy amables, atentos y la comunicación fue rápida y fluida. Cualquier contratiempo o inconveniente lo resolvieron de inmediato, lo que nos hizo sentir muy tranquilos durante toda la estadía.
Definitivamente recomendamos este lugar y volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí sin dudarlo.
This place was absolutely beautiful
This place was absolutely beautiful. Great views of the beach. The place was clean and cozy. We loved the very well maintained pool on the property and great food in Humacao. We struggled finding it from Apple Maps and description host provided but a security guard helped us out. Overall amazing stay.

was very pleased with my stay here! the host would respond almost immediately about any questions or concerns i had. they worked very well with a parking issue we had. the spaces to park are a lil small and we rented too big of a truck (dodge ram) so trying to fit it in with other cars was not very fun. streets are busy so street parking wasn’t much of an option. the pool is shared between the other units and there’s shared laundry as well but honestly never had a problem. the place was clean and the outside areas were very cute. they have stuff to cook with in the kitchen as well as beach towels and beach toys downstairs to take on beach trips. it’s in a very convenient area with a whole bunch around to walk to if you don’t have a car. would definitely recommend this place/host!

Please consider this review for Vila Marina by Otium. We didn’t stay at this property (Dos Marinas) as it was cancelled just days before. However, Otium offered us Vila Marina for the same price and with early check in as gesture of appreciation for us to accept the last minute swap.
Negative:
Vila Marina – Had great conditions with AC working very well apart from the one in the double bedroom that was too noisy.

I thoroughly enjoy this Airbnb and I will definitely be back booking at the same place. My only issue was Our Airbnb was on the second floor and there was no type of elevator or anything of that sort. It was just all stairs and it was very difficult for me and my friend to bring up our suitcases up the stairs and then also bring them down when it’s time to leave. It was very inconvenient and I wish that the Airbnb host would’ve clarified that they’re only stairs. Also another thing issue was the bathroom, every time someone showered the floor was flooding like the water was everywhere. The bathmat was soaking wet. The water was going into the hallway into the rooms. It was very, very dangerous because I slipped and my friend did as well. Overall, it was an extremely safe neighborhood and it was literally a one minute walk to the beach and very close to old San Juan and San Juan.

El apartamento es muy lindo, cómodo y estaba super limpio. La ubicación es excelente, queda cerca de todo y fue muy fácil movernos y encontrar lugares para comer. Además, la zona es muy tranquila.
También me gustó que el apartamento tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar.
Great spot for 3 people
Great spot for 3 people. Private bedrooms. open concept with the rest. Nice balcony with views. Nice private pool. Hosts were responsive and allowed us to use their floats and beach chairs for the beach. 2 blocks away. Everything was walking distance. Great location to enjoy the area and private enough to be out of the limelight.

The property is in an excellent location. The common areas are amazing, and the pool is very refreshing. There is parking available for certain units, but I used Uber. The host was very helpful all the time.
Negative:
Not sure. The property was very well kept. It was extremely clean. Really, I don’t have complaints. Will be visiting again soon.

The host is extremely responsive like “did they ever sleep?” level responsive. From booking to checkout to after I left. They were super helpful with all my questions and requests. I even asked for two items that were listed but not in the apartment, and they had someone deliver them the next day. I worked from the apartment and the WiFi was solid. The bedroom was very clean, and the bed was well made when I arrived. The pillows were okay.. kind of flat, but still fine for me. If you prefer firm pillows, you might find them uncomfortable! FYI It can get loud outside from tourists, cars, and general vacation chaos. The laundry shop next door also wakes up very early and does not believe in silence. I just accepted it as part of the “Puerto Rico morning soundtrack” lol Location is honestly the best part. Less than 5 min walking distance to the beach, bars, resto, etc.

Great location walking distance from the amazing Condado Beach and other great shops and restaurants. Between a 10 min drive to Old San Juan and 35 min drive to Luquillo and the National Forest, it was the perfect location for us! Otium was proactive in responses, never waiting more than 10 mins for information and was extremely helpful the whole week we were there! The location was full of great restaurants but with that the noise was a bit much on a few nights from the bar next door, but other than that it was solid. The furniture was minimal and the beds could be updated but perfect for just sleeping and being out the whole day exploring. It’s listed for 4 ppl however the walls are thin and no living room so expect it to be cramped and limited privacy but it was perfect for just us two. Overall I would recommend this apartment to my friends and would stay again!
