Our stay at Otium was absolutely lovely
Our stay at Otium was absolutely lovely. It was peaceful, especially the pool, which was so entangled with nature. It was charming and comfortable. The hot water in the shower didn’t work throughout but we made do and the outdoor shower was comfortable for rinsing off. The floors were a little dirty so we wore socks around the apartment.
Overall it was an INCREDIBLE spot, great location, close to Playita Del Condado!! Otium was very responsive and we felt right at home. Definitely worth a stay and worth your money. Thank you for incorporating nature into your architecture and for a lovely stay.
Loved this place and the view is stunning
Loved this place and the view is stunning! Wish I had more time in the room to enjoy the view! Looks just like pictures and is very clean! Love that they provide beach towels, chairs, and a cooler! I had an issue because for some reason the automated check in instructions never sent but the host fixed it very quickly which was great!
This was the BEST space
This was the BEST space. The balcony overlooking the water was the perfect spot for morning coffee or a cocktail. The space was clean and the kitchen was so nice to have! Access to the pool was lovely, and everything was very walkable. Lots of great restaurants and beaches in a very close and walkable area. The space was very awesome and very space as they had to check you in each time. WILL STAY HERE AGAIN! Loved it – thank you!
My friend and I loved our stay at this property in old San Juan
My friend and I loved our stay at this property in old San Juan! We had some issues with the keys and lockboxes, and the host was very communicative and quick to send someone out to fix them. The property itself was extremely spacious and clean, perfect for 2 girls with lots of luggage who each want to have their own space! The property had one bed + one pull out couch and both were extremely comfortable. We felt what we had everything we needed and more for our stay! Great location in a super walkable and exciting area of Old San Juan, nicely tucked away on a quiet street near lots of bars and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this spot to anyone traveling to San Juan! Great property, even better host!

With all the nightlife surrounding the home, it stayed quiet inside the home. A lot was worn but nothing was dirty. Host was very responsive and even provided activities to do in the area. Pop shot was a fun touch as well! Very nice stay all around.

I love where it was located walking distance to many places, restaurants, and beaches. The people that work there were very helpful. The host was responsive, but the place could be cleaner. The bathroom toilet was dirty. I did have two inconveniences. I’m not sure if they fixed the first one or what they did and the second one was fixed besides that it was a great stay.

We had room #2 it was pretty nice and spacious. Parking lot made our stay feel saver. There are restaurants and bars that are walking distance. Our host is very friendly and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The shower head from the upstairs bathroom was broken but I was able to “fix it” at the end our stay a repair person did came to fix it. The rooms need curtains for privacy because you can see everything from outside if you are walking by the rooms specially at night. Overall it was a good stay and are happy that we chose this place!

La ubicación está muy buena, se puede caminar, muchas alternativas de restaurantes, bares y tiendas. El cuarto está bonito decorado, tiene todo lo necesario. Agua caliente, varias toallas, sábanas y limpias. Buen aire acondicionado. Tiene cafetera, lo único que no dejaron leche para 2 días ni azúcar. La limpieza como tal; el lavamanos del baño estaba llena de pasta dental como si hubieran “escupido” es algo desagradable; y el sillón necesita un shampoo; tenía cabellos y migajas de comida. El área externa está feita, deben de por lo menos limpiar el pasillo y áreas externas; tiene muchos escombros. Pero por el precio y ubicación no está nada mal para estar 1 a 2 días.

Beautiful apartment, local to shops, restaurants, and old San Juan is an 8 minute drive. Location is great and is on a dead end street with the beach right there less than a minute walk. Great host and great area! Highly recommend.
My 3 friends and I just left Otium”s place
My 3 friends and I just left Otium”s place. We loved the location. It was a block away from wonderful resturants, coffee shops, stores and best the beach just a block away. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The place was completly furnished with everything you would possibly need. It was super clean and stocked with essentials needed. He also has beach chairs and beach umbrella for your use. Otium was always available to answer any questions. We felt very safe with a gated community. The PH had a great view of the beach. It is easy to grab a uber to go to Old San Juan or any tours you might do. We hated to leave such a wonderful place and can’t wait to come back. I give this place a 10 star rating.
The room was perfect
The room was perfect! Just like the photos, clean and tidy! The view was amazing! Waking up everyday to seeing turtles and people kayaking was beautiful! Coffee and food close by! Good amount of places just an uber ride away or a nice walk away! Felt safe the whole time! Would book again!

Had a great stay but checking in was a task. They didn’t send whatever link until I reached out to support because they weren’t responding and their number worked for 2 calls then was out of service and I did have to pay an additional $25 fee directly to them which would’ve been nice to know before I was trying to check in but the property itself was great! Felt safe, was clean, and didn’t have any problems. Would stay with them again

Had some issues with the check in with some codes not being provided with the details but the host responded pretty quickly. Water was out due to an issue outside of hosts control (does not have a cistern). Once water was restored the hot water wasn’t working so I had to reach out to the host. They responded pretty quickly as well and scheduled someone to come fix it. Later on towards the end of the stay the power went out in the area, again out of the hosts control. It seems like only this unit in the complex was out but other buildings in the area were out as well. Does not have a backup generator. Overall the responsiveness of the host was amazing. Then unit was clean. I would recommend newer pots and pans for the Teflon is peeling from them that could be toxic. The unit was very spacious. The beds weren’t that comfortable to us for we are more used to a soft firm mattress but these seemed more like just firm mattresses. Overall was a great place with a nice location w/beach nearby
