This is a beautiful place to stay, it was very clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable, the shower was greatand clean, big bathroom, the kitchen has everything you need. There are lots of restaurants to go, I recommend Bistro Cafè it was delicious, the coffee was so good! Kyara, our host was super friendly, always available and kind, she really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The beach is walking distance, it is not the most beautiful, but it is fine, I recommend renting a car so you can go to other beaches. The location of the apartment is great, near everything, just make sure you watch the video they send so you know how to arrive once you enter the neighborhood’s gate. This is a great place to stay, I recommend it 100%, plus you won’t find that easy the amazimg customer service they offer.
The most beautiful Airbnb
The most beautiful Airbnb l’ve ever stayed in, truly a dream. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how stunning this place was. Every corner looked like it belonged in a magazine, organic beauty everywhere you looked and endless photo-worthy spots without even trying. The check-in process was seamless and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and responsive throughout the stay. It honestly felt like they cared about making the experience perfect. I’ve stayed in many places, but this one takes the crown. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a beautiful stay! The hosts at Otium were super friendly and responsive. They even would check in on us from time to time to make sure we were settling in okay. The Airbnb was super clean and spacious. 10/10 would definitely stay again and would recommend this place to others.
This was our second stay at one of Otium’s Weekender units
This was our second stay at one of Otium’s Weekender units in San Juan within a week. We stayed the first and last night of our trip for easy access to the airport with the main purpose of our trip being to go to the west coast of Puerto Rico for a friend’s wedding. We were glad we chose this property and wished we had more time to explore the surrounding area, which was close to the beach, nearby restaurants, and coffee shops. The room was very comfortable and clean with excellent AC. It is at the back of a beautifully maintained, property with lush, tropical landscaping, a nice pool, and a bar. It felt very safe and secure. It was so quiet and peaceful that we could hear the coquí frogs. If we are ever back in San Juan we will definitely return! Our only feedback: the host could be more responsive via the chat app they suggested we use to communicate. It would have also been nice to know where on the property the unit was situated and that it was upstairs.

Our stay was great overall. The owner was fantastic however we were not very pleased with Otium as the description showed 3 bedrooms however they are separate units. Since this was not clearly explained in the Airbnb listing, we overpaid for something we did not use. We were not able to use the other unit at all as we have small children that we can’t separate to a whole separate unit. When I called to discuss, I was told I would get a call back and I have yet to receive a call regarding a partial refund.

As soon as we opened the gate, we saw this beautiful hotel with lush greenery. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our late night arrival. The room was newly renovated with modern decor and tile work. Conveniences were walkable from Walgreens to bakeries and restaurants. We rented a car and enjoyed Condado Beach 20 min away.
We really enjoyed our stay
We really enjoyed our stay at The Weekender. It’s a really cute boutique hotel in a nice walkable area with plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to a nice beach. Honestly, it was even better in person than in photos. The room was spacious with a seating area, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was very clean and the room was well-equipped with some thoughtful details like beach towels, a beach bag, steamer, water bottles, a small fridge, etc. The room had two AC units – one in the seating area and one right above the bed – that kept the room very cool. One note on the mattress – it was on the firmer side. Not uncomfortable by any means, but not a plush pillow top if that’s your thing. The bar area, pool and landscaping on the property are all very beautiful and well-maintained. Would 10/10 recommend! They also held our bags for us after checkout so we could go to breakfast and said we could leave them as long as we’d like.

We had a really good time during our stay. The experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Orlando, one of the hosts, was great—super friendly and pretty cool to talk to. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and always around if you needed anything, which made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Definitely recommend!
The apartment is very nice
The apartment is very nice, however, the arrival experience was terrible. They never sent us the code to pick up the keys, they didn’t answer messages or phone calls. We waited outside for almost an hour until a tenant did us the favor of contacting the manager. Likewise, to return the keys upon departure, the code was incorrect. They should be more careful. For a moment, we thought we had been scammed.
Very clean room and property!
Very clean room and property! Check in was effortless, due to delayed flight we got in after 1am and security had my name on a sticky note prepared for our arrival. As far as amenities, there is a gym on property, there is no microwave if you’re a late night eater, laundry mat in the area if you need one, restaurants, Walgreens in walking distance, easy for uber to find as well. I read other reviews that said parking was limited, but I didn’t drive down there so that wasn’t an issue. Natures sound is beautiful for me. I traveled from Monday-Thursday the music near the bar didn’t bother me at all. I stayed in Casita 3 right in front of the pool never went in the water felt cold. So I had no clue that I had to put a sign on the door for house cleaning, the sign was two sided one side says shhh do not disturb and the other side said please clean. So my room wasn’t cleaned from Tuesday-Thursday. Tried to do a late check out but they booked our room, but they offered to hold our bags!

Exceeded all expectations! 10/10 From the lily pond in the front to the perfect sized pool towards the bar, you’ll get to enjoy a drink at multiple chill points. I was impressed with all amenities even the sounds of the native coquí! Makes you feel like you’re hanging in the rain forest! Great service and overall experience! Highly recommend!
The Weekender by Opium is THE place to stay
The Weekender by Opium is THE place to stay if you want to be in walking distance to beach, bars, restaurants, and everything in between! When you enter its oasis, you feel comforted and right at home. The staff was always attentive, friendly and helpful in every way! Will def be back!
I stayed at this hotel for my birthday
I stayed at this hotel for my birthday and absolutely loved it! (#1)The employees were super super nice. I stayed in casita #3, which I recommend because it’s literally right in front of the pool. Secondly, The hotel is very beautiful and gives very much villa vibes, it’s 10 min walk to beach plus they have a bar .. They even sent out texts for a free shot one day that we were there. Loved that! Overall, 10/10 highly recommended. Area is near lots of things to do, scooter and walk accessible.
