Casa BACARDÍ
We booked the Legacy tour and Omar was our guide. He was great – friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. For our welcome drinks we chose Lavender Fields Forever and Call me Old Fashioned. They were delicious, just a $4 up-sale fee for each but well worth it. The tram ride, video, and tour were all very informative. Omar talked about each BACARDÍ bottle (clear, gold, 4, 8, 10 year and the reserves) and what to or not to mix with each- he had some great suggestions that we will use. Sampling BACARDÍ‘s reserve bottle was the perfect way to end the tour. The gift shop had a lot of options with reasonable prices. After the tour and shopping we grabbed a couple daiquiris and snapped a few pictures. Can you visit Puerto Rico and not stop at Casa BACARDÍ? I guess you could, but I highly recommend a visit!

This wasn’t on our list of things to do, but we’re glad we did. The gardens are beautiful and the house itself is very interesting. $5 charge per person to view inside the house.
