Zimple Restaurant & Bar
I visited Zimple with my family 2 days ago and we had a great experience. From the person who greets you at the door, our waiter Ricardo to the Chefs on site. Everything we ordered was delicious, and Im not saying this lighly. Texture, flavor balance, presentation, freshness, aunthenticity! Coconut mojito- the best I’ve ever had and I am half cuban, half puertorrican. App- mini mofongo cups stuffed with skirt steak 5⭐. Mampostiao rice had this smokey flavor like it was cooked in a “fogón”, super authentic. The wow dish was the lobster stuffed with seafood, you can easily feed 3 people from that dish. The 5 milk cake was a very good sweet ending. Waiter checked on us many times, refilled waters, drinks promptly, make conversation and jokes with my mom. Recommended entrees, overall very knowledgeable, you can tell he loved his job. Chef accommodated my moms low sodium request. This place is a gem. Definately give it a try while staying in Rio Grande or passing by Canovanas. Thanks for the great time guys!!

Amazing brunch spot. Atmosphere is mystical and whimsical. Delicious food made from scratch. It’s not just food it’s an experience for all the senses, so go with enough time to enjoy it. Menu changes often, but always flavorful and creative. Order the house recommendations, they will not dissapoint. Can’t wait to try their dinner menu. Orlando was a great host and will even read you a tarot card before dessert. Arrive early because parking is limited, but there’s always a spot near by. You will love the place!!

Found the truck at the Miramar Food Truck Park. I Had the chicken and waffles, absolutely delicious. Some of the best I’ve had anywhere. My daughter had the Mac & Cheese and it was very good too. Definitely recommend a stop if your in San Juan and looking for something great to eat.

“Fancy” vibe so the food and drinks were pricey but we had no complaints. Made a reservation that we had to wait a little longer for but the food was superior. That short rib pasta was to die for. Also the bread and butter they bring to the table, I wanted to bring back home lol.
