Our stay at Otium was very stress free.

Our stay at Otium was very stress free. The place is a 15 minute walk from Ocean Park Beach which is amazing for swimming in calm waves and relaxing on the sand. They have an in unit washer and drier which was really helpful for washing clothes that got dirtied at the beach. Other reviews have said the pool was dirty but when we stayed there it was clean (though we didn’t swim in it.) The place is located in a gated community and we found it slightly difficult to enter the community depending on which direction you’re coming from on foot, but Ubers had no trouble getting in and out which is what we mainly used. Close to some restaurants which looked good, 10 minute Uber to the airport but quiet, and close to beach. The owners were very easy and quick to communicate with, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again!

My stay here was awesome! It is a great location with many walkable restaurants and coffee shops, you can even walk to the isla verde beach! It is a gated area which I really appreciated and the beach chairs were a PLUS. They did accommodate our super late check in as our flight had gotten extremely delayed, but there was one issue that was solve within the hour! I will recommend to make sure the pedestrian key is present once you check in as you need it to get in and out if you don’t have a car (the car gate automatically opens when leaving the property). Other than that- the pool was a nice touch, but I wish there were more mirrors as there was only the small one in the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again!!

A very central location. The hosts were very responsive prior to arrival. Just a little difficult to actually get in contact with the day of check in for the door code. Outside of that the place was in a pretty good place.

The airbnb was nice and just like the pictures. The outside was a little skeptical looking but it was actually a really quiet neighborhood and I felt safe. The host communicated throughout the stay and made sure we were ok. There were stray cats but I think that’s just Puerto Rico thing because they were everywhere. The beds were comfortable and Ac worked great! The water pressure was good but the water didn’t get warm which wasn’t a big deal but it was so hot and humid outside, a cool shower was needed! I would recommend this stay!

Excellent place to stay if you’re looking to be right in the center of everything - bars, restaurants, night life, beaches etc! The rooms looked just like the photos and the roof top terraces were the cherry on top! 100% recommend this property!

This space is small but PERFECT for someone alone or as a couple. I was able to work and have fun with ease. The location is everything! Everything is nearby. Security was on point and always helpful. The space was clean and had everything we needed and when asked for something it was delivered in no time! There were also small touches like snacks from the island and supplies during this time of covid like masks and hand sanitizers and the building itself had great precautions. The pac man arcade was super fun too. Ohhh and the bed!!! It was extremely comfortable where you sink in and just doze off...I miss it already. Last but not least, Otium allowed privacy and respect and that goes a long way. I can't wait to come back!!

We loved staying at this apartment. It is really well located, a quick scooter, nice walk, or east uber from anywhere you might need to go in the city. The host was also quite communicative and was able to respond to our couple requests during our stay.

Hi! We stayed here and we loved it! This place is perfect for a family of four, just be prepared to share a bathroom of course. However that’s any hotel but with twice the space. It was only a five minute walk to the beach which was great and you definitely felt safe in the neighborhood! Everything inside was very pristine and clean. A couple things to note: there is only one entrance into the neighborhood that works but they communicate how to get there easily! Just put the road name in! Also when we arrived at midnight (flight was delayed) we could not get through gate of the house. Turns out it was broken and we just had to pull it! It maybe fixed once you stay but if not, just pull the garage gate!! The neighborhood can get noisy but that’s okay! Also if you’re staying PLEASEEE go eat at the BARBACOA place within a 5 min walk. Being from Memphis it is one of the best bbq I’ve ever had!! All and all if we return to San Juan we will stay here! Thank you so much!

The place was excellent and really close to the pool! It was peaceful and even if there were people, everyone was respectful of their surroundings. There's a lot to do nearby which helps from when you want to do something different. Host was excellent, always giving a quick response and thorough instructions. We will definitely visit again

Host were very responsive. Make sure you have every guest on their list. The have floats for the pool, and a couple of board games. Make sure you take the beach access key if you are going to it. The complex had lots of pools and couple of them are heated. Pool and beach times (open/close) were very convenient as well.
