Great location, well kept, clean, and secure. Beach and great restaurants are just a short walk away. Only problem I had was using Apple Maps to locate the address, but the host was helpful and responsive. I would stay here again

First and foremost, I must say the customer service is top notch. The team was very responsive and patient with my million questions. The apartment is on the top floor overlooking the pool, lots of windows if you enjoy sunshine. To my surprise there was a arcade machine with all my favorite games from the 80s. Very nice touch. The bed was very comfy and there is plenty of space for storing your stuff. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need if you wish to cook. The staff was nice enough to greet me with some snacks, K cups pods for coffee and bottle water. I think the bottle could at least be a liter bottle since upon arrival you might not be in the mood to go grocery shopping, and water is one of those essentials we all value. The pool is nice and well maintained. There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. I recommend the Blue Shark and Bistro Café for brunch. Really good food. Overall great stay albeit the rain, but I enjoyed my stay.

Had a great stay here! The king bed and couch were super comfortable and the arcade machine was a fun addition! The place looks exactly like the photos. Having beach towels included was also a plus. Check in and check out was super easy and quick. The host was always super responsive and friendly. And the area is very walkable to Walmart, La Placita, etc and a quick Uber ride to Old San Juan and Condado.

The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. We will be returning next year. Its is local to a plethora of restaurants and night life, and just steps away from the beach. Highly recommended!!!

A very central location. The hosts were very responsive prior to arrival. Just a little difficult to actually get in contact with the day of check in for the door code. Outside of that the place was in a pretty good place.

This location is central to most attractions and beaches. If you want to enjoy outdoor activities be sure to plan an early day as activities like jet skiing, banana boating, etc. close at 4pm daily and closed on Sundays. If you would like to go to the waterfall, plan for a tour. We were informed that there is no service in the mountains to request an Uber.

the apartment is very clean and neat, the building offers laundry room, pool and gym. The location is a walking distance from the “big names” hotels area but you don’t live in the middle of the disco party, it’s a quiet place. The only thing to mention, we were not lucky with the ocean and had to travel to a beach which is ok for kids, maybe it depends on the season. But if you like surfing or kiteboarding, this area is definitely 100% yours. The managing company is welcoming and amazing in communication. Have a good time in San Juan!

Awesome place as it was close to everything. Easy to check in, very clean, and it even had an arcade! Just a couple minutes walk to the beach. Walgreens is just around the corner for any necessities. Loved it 😊

We loved our stay! Nice large open living room and bedroom. Was a perfect size for the two of us. We loved having the pool right outside our door and used it often. The beach is steps away and we loved all the restaurants around in walking distance. We did not see enough of Puerto Rico so we do plan on making another trip and would stay here again.

Clean, spacious, and modern. When we booked, the title of the listing and the list of amenities both mention a swimming pool, but the small pool has apparently been closed for 2 years, so confirm before booking if you're looking for a pool. When we pointed this out, Otium was extremely accommodating and immediately moved us to another property with a pool, and promptly refunded us the price difference. The title of the listing also says it is 1 mile from the beach, however it is only 350m to the beach...an easy walk! It is more like a half mile to a mile if you want to go to the more central beach area to the west, where there are restaurants and patrolled beaches. But other than a grocery store, there are no vacation points of interest that are walkable in this very residential neighborhood, so stay here for the quiet and spacious apartment, but plan to use scooters, Uber, driving, or long walks to get to anything else. Research the neighborhoods before booking, as Otium has several properties in very different settings. The condo they moved us to was in a very different setting and suited us better, so we wished we had booked that one originally if we had researched the area better. Otium was very responsive to all our questions, and handled the pool listing confusion very satisfactorily. We would definitely stay with them again.
