“We had a really nice stay here. The building felt secure, there was an extra gate at the front which was nice. The area itself was okay, some locals said it’s not the best area but we didn’t experience any issues. Kitchen had everything we needed in terms of utensils/pans etc.. The beach chairs and towels were a really convenient touch since we we’re traveling from Canada. We would stay here again.

I loved everything about my stay at the weekender from the scenery and the host readily to accommodate, however the rooms are different sizes which I didn’t know until arrival and you don’t get to chose which one you’d perfer on Airbnb maybe if you book through the site you can see more precisely but i loved everything about my stay !

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our first impression of this hidden gem was breathtaking! Luxury seclusion, peace, and privacy greeted us, complemented by stunning mountain views from the expansive wraparound porch. Upon entering, our minds and spirits relaxed. Snacks and wine were thoughtful touches. This luxury vacation villa exceeded expectations, boasting air conditioning, cleanliness, spacious restrooms, comfortable beds, and exceptional linens. The immaculately manicured grounds featured natural beauty and a charming banana tree. The pool, barbecue, game room, workout-yoga room, and extra casita provided ample amenities. Consider stopping at a local market for snacks before arriving. The drive required skill, but local food trucks served delicious authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Renting a 4×4 is recommended. Our host demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, guiding us and offering an early check-in without charge. They coordinated my daughter’s birthday cake delivery! Don’t hesitate to book!
This is perfect for anyone
This is perfect for anyone who wants a natural ambiance and intimate atmosphere. The location is in perfect walking distance to essential services and shops so you wouldn’t have a problem getting to where you need to be. The only thing to consider is that there will be a lot of wildlife such as mosquitoes, geckos, and ants so as long as that’s not a problem for you, you will love it. They also have great customer service in person however it could take awhile for them to respond if there is a problem so just take that in consideration.

Thank you Otium! The Weekender was a fabulous stay. Everything about the location was extremely satisfying and the host/employees were all friendly and kind! Thank you for making this trip such a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone and would definitely be booking with them again.
This hotel surpassed our expectations
This hotel surpassed our expectations, it is BEAUTIFUL!! The staff is really friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and felt at home. The room itself was super clean and cozy! The hotel is a walking distance from many delicious restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood felt really safe and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back!!

Absolutely loved my stay here.
Absolutely loved my stay here. The apartment is super spacious and the decor was very aesthetic. Super comfortable bed, fantastic location with many bars, restaurants, and groceries right outside. The host always replied within a few minutes which was super appreciated. There was an issue with the hot water and water pressure but we were discounted due to the inconvenience. I would love to stay here again next time I’m back.
When I arrived I noticed the freezer mango was broken
When I arrived I noticed the freezer mango was broken !!! Take a photo and I sent it to you via whats up and they replied that thank you for notifying that they were coming on Sunday to fix it. In this week I receive a message that she is claiming 200 dollars for the freezer magician that I had already notified her and that they had replied that they were going to repair it!!!! It’s amazing and unacceptable that I’m charging for something that I didn’t break . They should be very careful when they get to an airbnb always take pictures and if something is broken they notify right away. I hope you can admit that I sent photo and its answer in my whats up I have the messages with time and everything!!!!
This place is gorgeous
This place is gorgeous, honestly prettier in person but the photos do match the description perfectly. Very peaceful and secluded but directly in a very busy and walkable area which makes it a great balance. The outdoor space is gorgeous they always have security working on grounds and are pretty responsive on the app as well. I would 100% recommend staying here probably one of the best possible stays in ocean park. The only small hiccup I encountered was upon arrival ( late night ) the security kept me waiting and seemed confused about how to check someone in but after about 20 minutes I was let into my room and didn’t have any other issues during my stay. Manager was super helpful, couldn’t recommend this place more.

Overall – this place is a great stay! Convenient location, Uber rides were never longer than 10 minutes. UberEats available for late night munchies! The pool was the best part, so clean and refreshing!!! I love the cleanliness of the entire property. The rooms were clean and smelled great. Perfect for a couple’s getaway or weekend trip with your bestie.

I loved our stay! It was perfectly located in the hub of so many great places very walkable and the unit itself is super clean and inviting and we were very comfortable there. I would definitely return and the hosts were great and every way.

It’s a basic place (good if you’re not spending all your time inside) There was a pest problem and missing some cooking basics (s&p, oil, etc.) Nice to be close to the beach and very walkable around San Juan. Great recommendations from hosts, very responsive and helpful!

“I think the place is very outdated
“I think the place is very outdated and not sure if it is designed for smaller people as the table and chairs are very low, in the bedroom the bed was very low to the ground, which makes it difficult for someone who is 6 foot tall. The home is located next to the Salvation Army on the corner. The bathroom was a little unkept and the stains on the floor made me uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the kitchen area worked great and the bedroom one worked OK. The area is quite noisy as there was lots of dogs, barking, people, yelling, kids, screaming cars, racing up and down the highway and you hear everything inside the home. We used Uber for most of getting around as you are not in a location to walk to some finer restaurants, nicer bars, or coffee houses. There is a great breakfast spot at the end of the street.

The apartment was cute. They had 2 small rooms, and I believe they remodeled a 1-Bd or studio apartment to make it into 2 bedrooms. The bed made noises whenever you sat or turned, which was awkward. 😬The bath towel hooks weren’t proper hooks, so the towels always slid to the floor. Having more towels would be nice! The interior was very simple. Construction was also happening on the weekend, but it didn’t bother us.

Great small studio perfect for a couple and with access to a gorgeous beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and a 24hr supermarket. A 10 minute Uber ride to old San Juan. Definitely recommend. Just we aware that if you are a light sleeper the sun may wake you up in the morning as it does not have blackout shades.

stayed here for five days for my bday trip & it was amazing! beautiful pool not too deep for my non swimmers, everything was nearby & old san juan was 10 min in uber ride away. absolutely loved the staff & the comfort level. they also have apps on tv for entertainment! absolutely love it will be coming back!

Our stay was FABULOUS!!! Communication was thorough from before check in until checkout. The space and amenities were awesome. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Crystal was AMAZING, as well as Mark!!! There was a slight hiccup with a power outage that lasted about an hour and both were reassuring and accommodating. I didn’t meet Mark in person, but he was very helpful over the phone with reassuring us that the issue was being taken care of and all would be well. Crystal is PHENOMENAL and deserves a raise! She’s beautiful inside/out and always happy to help with whatever we needed. There was another gentleman that accommodated us with holding our luggage until check in (we got there at noon), he recommended a great restaurant for us to enjoy while we waited and even allowed us to checkin a little early. We appreciate you and we apologize for not getting his name. Beautiful place and beautiful people! We will definitely be back!!!
