This is a large apartment with two big bedrooms
This is a large apartment with two big bedrooms, comfortable beds, three bathrooms, nice and living room. It’s in a quite complex, with a small swimming pool and straight access to a very empty beach. But there is nothing really around so you have to drive for everything. The beach is completely empty and so is the complex where the apartment is located. However, we had a real issue with checking in. The company had forgotten to put our names on the security list so it took us 3 hours to be able to enter the apartment. we got in at 3am. it was extremely frustrating, especially since we had three young children in the car. The security kept telling us it was the wrong building so we kept driving around until we finally realized it was right. They did refund us one night and the company communicates well. One of the shower floors isnt built right so the water leaks into the floor and into the bedrooms. but then the company asked for $200 in additional cleaning. bc of some dirty dishes.

if you are thinking about booking this, don’t think twice!! This place was perfect and just what I was looking for. It looks exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and just as described, no complaints at all. There were beach towels and chairs for use at the beach, kitchen stocked with anything you need to cook, Keurig with the best, Bustelo coffee. The bed was very comfortable. it is in the perfect location, literally a 3-6 minute walk to everything. All the restaurants and the beach are right up the street. 24 hour walgreens is right across the street from the air bnb as well. The staff was very responsive and helpful and was able to answer any question that I had. very professional and kindl. They checked on me to make sure my stay was going good with no issues. I wish I could have stayed here longer than 2 days because I definitely would have. It does not have many reviews but that is because it may be a newer listing. Trust Me this is worth it if u want to have a great trip!
Otium and team were very responsive
Otium and team were very responsive to my messages and were eager to ensure we had a peasant stay. Within hours of letting them know our coffee machine wasn’t working, someone came by with a brand new one and even gave us more coffee for our “troubles!” Overall, we enjoyed the apartment and loved having access to the shared pool! There is a nearby beach (about a 10-minute walk), but it’s small so we opted to drive to one of the larger beaches. Inside the apartment there is a step down from the kitchen/living room area to the bathroom/bedroom area. It (literally) tripped us up several times (we used our portable night light and set it on the step so it was visible at night). It was a bit confusing to understand the exact location of the apartment using Google, but the video instructions Otium sent made it clear once we arrived. There is a small arcade machine (with Pac Man and a few other games) in the apartment which we had fun playing! An overall positive experience!

Loved this place! Close to everything and spacious. The pool although was dirty and unkempt. Besides that, would stay again.

The host was extremely responsive and kind when messaging. I ranked a couple 4/5 based on their being 5 flight of stairs and no elevator. It would have been nice to list that in the description. The flights became my workout for the day approximately 20 stairs in total (short flights). Despite the stairs I would strongly recommend the unit. It’s beautiful and right off the beach. The host was amazing. The cost was worth it.. Thanks for a beautiful experience!
I really did enjoy my stay!
I want to be honest and say I really did enjoy my stay! It had pretty much everything I wanted. Not expensive but worth the price due to how small the unit is but it was only myself and my daughter so it worked out well. I enjoyed the pool although there was some bugs but it didn’t bother me much because it’s just dead bugs lol the pool seem fairly clean so that’s all that mattered. I was able to enjoy a lot in a little amount of time. You just have to have a little idea and use google or maps to find the best and closest places you want to go!
We had a great stay
We had a great stay, the location was perfect, the apartment was extremely clean and well-equipped. Host was very proactive and communication really easy. The beach is just a few street corners away and the beach is beautiful and less busy than the beaches a little further west. It’s also a lively area with a great selection of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. While being 15 min by taxi/Uber from the old San Juan.
The place was spotless
The place was spotless, love the way they decorated everything and the view it had to the sea, access to the beach and many very good places in the area, it had everything you could possibly need. Love that about the accommodation, What I could say that I really bothered was that they do not have parking for the guest even when if there is parking for the apartments, they do not give us access to such parking, I lost an hour of the stay looking for parking and when I call to ask a few questions they did not speak Spanish, we are in Puerto Rico in my opinion they should have someone who speaks Spanish as well. The Otium process for identity verification does not seem prudent since they ask for too much private information on another platform which is not Airbnb including credit or debit card number, passport, photos etc (airbnb already has that in system). The place was perfect. Otium in general was what I didn’t like.

Host were very responsive. Make sure you have every guest on their list. The have floats for the pool, and a couple of board games. Make sure you take the beach access key if you are going to it. The complex had lots of pools and couple of them are heated. Pool and beach times (open/close) were very convenient as well.
Our stay was absolutely amazing.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. The services were really great and they responded right away anytime we have any questions. They even gave us suggestions for some adventures tours in the area. The best part was the location close to everything and walkable distance from lots of amazing restaurants.
Centrally located
Centrally located, the parking lot very uncomfortable had to look for in the street! the studio is clean but the entrance door needs repair. The area doesn’t look very safe to walk in the evenings! communication with Kyara was good.
We were told that there was an electrical issue
We were told that there was an electrical issue in the Old San Juan rental, a few days before we were set to travel. They offered us a new place not far from the original location, that actually had free and secure parking and being able to get a car allowed us to see so much more. It was in a different neighborhood a block off the beach, with security, very walkable with so many restaurants to choose from. The rental was very clean, and every thing was new. I don’t think they were prepared for tenants to stay more than a few days, so we had to request more towels and cleaning supplies. They were responsive, also there’s a couple grocery stores within walking distance. Overall despite the switch we felt that Otium did exactly what they should have to make up secure and happy! Thank you!

Overall the stay was very comfortable. Only problems I had with the apartment were the amenities. The stove top has a short in it so you have to keep plugging it in the socket and moving it to the right position so you’ll be able to use the stove properly. The shower pressure is similar to rain and it does get steamy hot. So if you enjoy hot showers this probably isn’t the place for you.

it was exactly as described! I was not happy with the several emails for credit card and verification process. it seemed over the top since Airb&b has all my info but after that everything went smooth. The location is great, the place was stocked up with coffee and I realy enjoyed it. worth the money and would go back.

I broke my leg during my stay in San Juan and I had to stay in the bed for several days out of the seven days I was there and it was very comfortable. The owners offered me a stay in ground level when they found out about situation which thought was wonderful. I would highly recommend this condominium where your stay in Puerto Rico.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay, the ocean front is less than a minute walk from the Air B & B, the pool was clean and great to sit at if you are looking to hangout. If you rent a car a lot of great places are fairly close, within a 20 minute drive. Over all great experience, and a great place to stay.
everything was perfect just like the picture
Walked in thinking it wasn’t going to match the description on the pictures but I was wrong everything was perfect just like the picture.. The bathroom was clean, the bed was perfect , very peaceful area etc… I loved everything about it. Highly Recommend!!!
Great location
Great location near the beach and restaurants, beds were comfy. The beach chairs and loads of towels made the trip very pleasant. Arcade was fun during the intermittent rain. Did not have an issue finding spot for parking out front, but sometimes the spots were at capacity. Noise was only loud at night on the weekend nights – only had to use earplugs 2 of the nights, but otherwise was quiet enough. Perfect for our week in PR

Location is amazing. The beach was a 5 min walk away. There is a 24 hour Walgreens one block away. The layout was great at this place; very spacious and comfortable with AC everywhere. Lots of amenities as well. Hosts were very responsive, but it made me nervous that check in instructions were only sent out one hour before check in time. Also, check in time is at 4pm, but they do not offer early luggage drop off, but host suggested a great luggage storage place nearby. The biggest issue I had was that there were so many tiny ants, which were tolerable for a couple nights stay, but they sometimes crawled onto me and on the bed. The space is two apartments connected, so there are two kitchens where the ants were mostly located. One of the apt’s view out the window was a shared balcony space, so I was uncomfortable with opening the blinds. I struggled with figuring out how to exit the main door, which was often left open which felt unsafe, but someone showed me there is an exit button.

This was a great stay! Very close to the beach—less than a 2 minute walk. It is central to all of the necessities and tons of food options. The only downside is that they weren’t flexible with the early arrivals and late checkouts. This may be due to the high demand in bookings. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.
