Review of The Weekender Boutique Hotel The Weekender truly lives up to its name, offering an ideal getaway experience. This boutique hotel is perfectly situated in a central, walkable area, just a few minutes away from the local Walgreens, the beach, and various food spots. My partner and I appreciated the convenience of its location. Despite my limited Spanish, navigating Puerto Rico was seamless. We stayed in Casona 3, a cozy and charming room. Each room in the hotel varies in size, which adds to its unique character. As a newly built property, The Weekender is still enhancing its amenities, but the venue is already stunning, and I would absolutely return in the future. My only minor issue was that the power was out upon our arrival. While it was inconvenient, the staff made a genuine effort to accommodate us and ensure we could still enjoy our stay. I don’t even know where to beginning. This place was overall perfect. The location was perfect, the space was peaceful felt right at home, the art on the walls was even perfect. The host had perfect communication and was very accommodating. I highly recommend this place even the other listings to anyone. I will definitely be returning. Otium thank you for everything.

I had such an amazing experience here definitely 10/10. The place was very clean and well organized. Our room was right next to the pool which I really loved, the place was close to lots of places you can walk to like stores, food places etc. The host was super nice always responded fast and very helpful and always answered all the questions I had, which I gladly appreciated. We arrived early from our flight, they let us check in earlier and also offered us to leave our luggage in the lobby if we didn’t wanna check in earlier. I’ll definitely will be back here again.
The only reason I thought check in
The only reason I thought check in was a hassle I was tired after driving for 2hrs I booked a different Airbnb prior to this one and I felt bamboozled the pictures were deceiving and the place was unsafe and raunchy. I was already frustrated for just an extra 20 dollars I felt clean safe. The only complaint is I can hear people outside swimming in the pool at 2am and I know they could hear me so the location does not feel very private or intimate.
I love this place!
I love this place! Small oasis close to everything. I would stay here again without a doubt. It’s close to a lot of things, steps from the beach and this particular room shared a pool with another room only. The plus is that they are a boutique hotel and the rooms clean them daily. Thank you for everything!
My best friend and I visited this property
My best friend and I visited this property for a week and it definitely did not disappoint. Not only was it so clean and so beautiful but we felt like we were right at home Puerto Rico is absolutely beautiful, but this property made it feel even better. It was walkable to all restaurants and beaches within 10 minutes. Old San Juan is about a 10 to 15 minute drive away and we highly recommend going! Ubers also are very cheap in Puerto Rico! I i felt very comfortable with the safety there as you are in a gated community, I highly recommend this property to anybody wanting to visit Puerto Rico.

“We had a really nice stay here. The building felt secure, there was an extra gate at the front which was nice. The area itself was okay, some locals said it’s not the best area but we didn’t experience any issues. Kitchen had everything we needed in terms of utensils/pans etc.. The beach chairs and towels were a really convenient touch since we we’re traveling from Canada. We would stay here again.

Def found this location to be so perfect ! I loved everything about my stay at the weekender from the scenery and the host readily to accommodate, however the rooms are different sizes which I didn’t know until arrival and you don’t get to chose which one you’d perfer on Airbnb maybe if you book through the site you can see more precisely but i loved everything about my stay !

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our first impression of this hidden gem was breathtaking! Luxury seclusion, peace, and privacy greeted us, complemented by stunning mountain views from the expansive wraparound porch. Upon entering, our minds and spirits relaxed. Snacks and wine were thoughtful touches. This luxury vacation villa exceeded expectations, boasting air conditioning, cleanliness, spacious restrooms, comfortable beds, and exceptional linens. The immaculately manicured grounds featured natural beauty and a charming banana tree. The pool, barbecue, game room, workout-yoga room, and extra casita provided ample amenities. Consider stopping at a local market for snacks before arriving. The drive required skill, but local food trucks served delicious authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Renting a 4×4 is recommended. Our host demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, guiding us and offering an early check-in without charge. They coordinated my daughter’s birthday cake delivery! Don’t hesitate to book!
This is perfect for anyone
This is perfect for anyone who wants a natural ambiance and intimate atmosphere. The location is in perfect walking distance to essential services and shops so you wouldn’t have a problem getting to where you need to be. The only thing to consider is that there will be a lot of wildlife such as mosquitoes, geckos, and ants so as long as that’s not a problem for you, you will love it. They also have great customer service in person however it could take awhile for them to respond if there is a problem so just take that in consideration.

Thank you Otium! The Weekender was a fabulous stay. Everything about the location was extremely satisfying and the host/employees were all friendly and kind! Thank you for making this trip such a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone and would definitely be booking with them again.
This hotel surpassed our expectations
This hotel surpassed our expectations, it is BEAUTIFUL!! The staff is really friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and felt at home. The room itself was super clean and cozy! The hotel is a walking distance from many delicious restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood felt really safe and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back!!
