Our stay was incredible!! This place will leave you feeling blessed and impressed! From the minute you walk in and every day after. Loved the interior of the apartment so much I wanted to stay longer. We will definitely be coming back and looking for Otium at other locations we visit 🙂 Location is prime with beach access, great pool, and everything you’d want is in walking distance! Only time we took an Uber was to Old San Juan for under $10!!! The recommendations and online manual they send you is so helpful and appreciated. Host even sends a message the morning after check-in to make sure you’ve settled well & if you need anything. WiFi access was great so if you need to work remotely you’re all set. Netflix and chill for a night? They got you on that too! It’s all set up and logged in for you. 12/10 would recommend this stay! Best AirBnB experience I’ve ever had. Thank youuuuuu 🙂

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had access to all the things we needed and are grateful for that. The facility pool, gym and beach access were wonderful. I feel as though it is important to reiterate with residents who live within the facility that it is equally as important for them to be respectful us short term “renters” who pay to stay within these types of units, as it is for us to be respectful to them. My guest and myself were happy to abide by the rules, as we did throughout our stay, but found ourselves being harassed or feeling unwelcome a couple of times throughout our stay. Thank you for being so accommodating and accessible to us when we needed you. We are extremely grateful.

A great option for a family especially one with a baby/toddler. There is a pack and play available. The customer service is excellent. Host(s) responded to all communication quickly. Location is nice. Not far from the beach. One note is the beach is a little rocky but still nice and enjoyable. The apartment is spacious and comes with many amenities for cooking, washing clothes, etc. The area outsidethe apartment is nice. It is not Condado but it is safe and there are eateries and a grocery store not far. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a nice neighborhood. My friend and I stayed here. It was great that we could close the door to the bedroom so we each had some privacy. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The apartment has a beautiful pool and access to a gorgeous beach. We had a great stay. Check out Jorge Enrique restaurant – one of the best meals of my life.

Clean, spacious, and modern. When we booked, the title of the listing and the list of amenities both mention a swimming pool, but the small pool has apparently been closed for 2 years, so confirm before booking if you’re looking for a pool. When we pointed this out, Otium was extremely accommodating and immediately moved us to another property with a pool, and promptly refunded us the price difference. The title of the listing also says it is 1 mile from the beach, however it is only 350m to the beach…an easy walk! It is more like a half mile to a mile if you want to go to the more central beach area to the west, where there are restaurants and patrolled beaches. But other than a grocery store, there are no vacation points of interest that are walkable in this very residential neighborhood, so stay here for the quiet and spacious apartment, but plan to use scooters, Uber, driving, or long walks to get to anything else. Research the neighborhoods before booking, as Otium has several properties in very different settings. The condo they moved us to was in a very different setting and suited us better, so we wished we had booked that one originally if we had researched the area better. Otium was very responsive to all our questions, and handled the pool listing confusion very satisfactorily. We would definitely stay with them again.

Communication between us and otium rental was good. We arrived at dawn and there was security there to open the gate to allow us to unload our luggages. The location is very near the beach. If you walk further, there will be less rocks on the beach. There are a couple of restaurants down the road. Other restaurants Calle Loiza are easily accessible. It is very near the airport. Parking is available. Linens, towels are adequate. Unit has washer and dryer which is convenient for a family with kids. There is a pool in the building which my kids enjoyed. Host tried to communicate during our stay to make sure we have everything we need.

We had a great time at Otium. The communication was super easy and quick, and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located, and although it’s a lively neighborhood, the apartment is very quiet! I would absolutely recommend to stay there!

A great location just a block from the beach. The place was huge with many upgrades. We enjoyed the upgarded kitchen. The grocery store was just a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful flat – really pretty views. Has all amenities and more. Kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable living space, much larger than we expected. The apartment is in a great location to walk to restaurants, the beach. Also! The pool is really nice, quiet. The Otium team was incredible to work with when booking and communicating throughout our stay. Highly recommended !!

This place was so amazing!! Created so many new memories. It can be scary booking an Airbnb not knowing what you’ll get. But trust me this place offers everything that’s advertised. Extremely clean and felt like home. I didn’t want to leave. While on vacation we had a national blackout. However, the host made sure to bring waters and flashlights and updated us every day. Once the power came back it felt like home once again and truly I wish I could stay longer. Will be coming back for sure.

You can’t beat the location
You can’t beat the location of this accommodation, it’s RIGHT on the beach, with a pool and tennis courts too. We felt safe, and had zero noise from neighbors (just some in the hallways, which neighbors were quick to shush). The building is quite dated, and the space is cozy, but it’s perfect for a simple and affordable beach getaway for a couple or small family. The view is wonderful. We were very impressed with the near-immediate responses from the hosts, they jumped on any issues we had and answered every question. We appreciated the beach toys for our kids, the quality tennis racquets, ping pong table, and the bottled water. Be prepared to wait for elevators, and for older doors to stick/jam sometimes. The arcade game featured is Street Fighter II. There’s a supermarket within 10 mins walk, cafes and restaurants around, and a public bus to the edge of old San Juan (FYI they only take quarters, and we recommend the free golf-buggy trolleys, that run every 15-20 minutes, through old San Juan to Castillo de Morro from there, its a great way to see the sights). Try Cool Hope for ice cream, the fish tacos from The Place, and the coconut flan from Cayo Caribe!

all great!! the only thing is that the windows have no lock and apt is on the ground floor. i recommended to the hosts that they install metal bars for the safety of next guests and since they are superhosts, they prob will take care. loved the turntable detail with old records to play. apt is clean and well equipped and even has a blender and toaster and foldable wooden tables. great that they had mosquito nets as i like fresh air rather than AC. hosts were kind to accepted my request to put cotton sheet on the firm mattress. so i had good sleep! thanks for all!

This was such a cute apartment. It was very clean and the hosts responded so quickly if there were any concerns. I had asked for towels and they responded immediately and brought them within an hour. There were all necessary amenities and it was in a perfect location! I highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to San Juan!!

Thank you! The location is fantastic. The building itself feels run down and the door to the beach has been “under repairs” for over a year, according to a friend who lived there. But the apt itself is practical and it has everything one needs. Thanks for bringing the coffee maker right away. Best of luck in the future.
Much better than expected
Much better than expected, gated neighborhood made it a little tricky to find, gate at entry to actual unit broken but neigborhood gated, felt very safe, very nic short walk to beach, full kitchen, very large separate bedroom, a/c cold, completely updated, pool looked great but was roped off and not accessible. Although confusing we made our way with needing to talk to host. We’d stay there again.

Location was great – right next to the beach and with a beach view. Parking was gated and had 24 hour security. Location on Ashford Ave was great – lots of close walking restaurants and bars. The place had a nice kitchen, bedroom and bars/stools were you could look out to the beach.

I loved this apartment, the location is ideal Ubers are 10 dollars or less to practically anywhere. The beach is right outside and there is a pool as well if you don’t want to get sandy. The host provides extra towels and a cooler and even beach chairs! The apartment being located on the 20th floor of the building gives you a great view of Puerto Rico and the bodega (convenience store) attached to the building has dam near anything else you might need during your stay.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this apartment. It is as described, and was super clean, with a very comfy bed, working air conditioners, a nice city view, a parking spot included, and good security . The location is ideal – a huge, beautiful pool, and literally steps from the lovely beach though take care to only go in about knee deep, there are very dangerous currents in most of the Condado beach area!! Please take a moment to read up about Condado beaches before you travel. This is why having a beautiful well-maintained pool right off the beach is especially nice.

This is my second time in this cozy apartment during my business travel to PR. Great service from part of the host. In addition, I totally forgot my toothpaste and called the host. It didn’t take one hour and I already had him deliver a brand new toothpaste and mouthwash set. What a great compliment from Otium. Thanks!

Great little apartment with everything you need, lovely interior and right on the beach. Hosts were great. There was a slight issue with the pack and play cot and the hosts brought a brand new one within an hour, which we really appreciated. Arcade machine is a fun touch and I enjoyed reliving my youth playing Street Fighter!

Great location (able to walk to a bunch of restaurants and bars), very clean and nice apartment, beautiful view and big window you can open to see and hear the ocean, tons of great amenities (tennis racquets and balls, beach towels, fun arcade game), all the kitchen appliances you need to cook at home and amazing pool and beach access!!

Our stay at Otium’s was great! The location was perfect – just steps from the beach and a short walk to a number of great bars and restaurants. The unit is simple, but was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable after long days in the sun.
