We had a great stay. The space was great for our whole family and allowed us easy walking access to the rest of Condado and the beach without all being squeezed into one hotel room. Hosts were easily reachable for anything we needed. While we were out and about most of our trip, the space made it easy for us to recharge whenever we were back there. Comfortable beds too.

The apartment was in a prime location in Condado, within walking distance of many restaurants, stores, and other conveniences. It was well-decorated, bright, and exceptionally clean, with air conditioning in every room, which made our stay very comfortable.One of the biggest advantages was the free parking, which provided a safe place for our vehicle and allowed us the flexibility to explore Puerto Rico with ease. The private laundry on-site was also a major plus, especially after multiple beach and pool days.The private pool for the complex was a great spot to relax, dip our feet in the water, and enjoy the beautiful Puerto Rican sunshine. Additionally, the complex offered snorkel gear, pool toys, beach chairs, and towels, which were thoughtful touches that added to our experience.Overall, we had a great stay and would certainly consider renting this property again.

The place was great. clean, pool was very nice. the location was great, walking distance to many restaurants, bars and the beach. the only thing I would advise is the parking situation. there are three very small spaces for cars, so if you have a big vehicle it might be a little tricky. the communication was speedy. the lock on our door wasn’t working when arrived around midnight and they responded immediately and resolved the issue. Great place!

It was a building next to a dry cleaners that looked in poor condition. The noise from the dry cleaners in the morning woke me up. At first I thought it was construction. Next, little bugs appeared in the bathroom sink and in the kitchen. The first evening we noticed mold on the ceiling, we wanted to leave the place immediately but could not get our expensive amount back. We needed towels, after the second day. Anything extra, we had to pay for it. We booked for four days! No one to speak to but a person hired through Optium. The floor and walls were scratched and in poor condition. We definitely didn’t get what we paid for. Almost forgot there were streaks and water marks on the blue walls. There was no closet or any bureau where I could hang my clothes. We lived out of our suitcases. On a positive note can say that our refrigerator worked and our air conditioning worked well.

We had a fabulous stay at the Weekender. The hotel was even better than envisaged, a secret little oasis in the hub of San Juan, very peaceful and thoughtfully designed. We’ve stayed in PR many times but really enjoyed staying at this location – close to great bars, restaurants, shops, yoga studio and walkable to the beach, Condardo and beyond. Can’t wait to come back and check out the new on site restaurant! Thank you for having us.

We had an amazing time! We loved our accommodations. It was close for the beach, shops, restaurants, and a quick Uber from Old San Juan. The pool area was our breakfast view each day. We loved the option of cooking in the spacious, well-stocked kitchen. The beds were super comfortable. Honestly, it was perfect for our family of 5, and I definitely see us returning!
Convenient location to beach access,
Convenient location to beach access, restaraunts, shopping, Walgreens, super max market and close to airport as well a cruise ship ports. Stayed for 4 nights and did have a main water pipe break the first night, but was fixed the next day. Wifi didn’t work until last 2 days of stay, but would deleting stay again due to the convenience of everything around it. It is located in town so it’s quite noisy, but i think you’ll get that in allot of places unless they’re insulated better.

This place was by far the best place I’ve stayed in Puerto Rico, it was walking distance to restaurants the main strip as well as the infamous La placita💃🏽. I would highly recommend this location, it has a great restaurant next door as well as a Walgreens for any last minute pick ups.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect – close to everything we needed, and the pool was a great bonus. We were initially unsure about renting a car, but we’re so glad we didn’t. Ubers were readily available and there was plenty to do nearby. We did experience a minor issue with the hot water, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and resolved it quickly. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would happily return!

Really enjoyed our night in Casita 1 at the Weekender. The very well-maintained outdoor spaces make this a cozy and welcoming spot; the pool was great after a hot run and the open air bar had a friendly and fun vibe! The room was clean if relatively spare; the bathroom was well appointed with supplies and was quite spacious. Staff were super kind. Location steps from Calle Loiza means easy access to lots of food and drink – but even on a Saturday night we didn’t have any noise issues despite Casita 1 being one of the closest to the street and entrance. Would definitely return here next time in SJ!

The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated and cozy. On arrival the apartment was tidy but not clean as you would expect, reason which we are deducting stars. When surfaces are dusty and floors not mopped I question if other things aren’t as clean as expected. Location is prime and very walkable to restaurants and night life. The pool area is lovely and they’ve made an effort to make it feel welcoming and tropical. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool but would’ve loved to take a plunge. Check out instructions were clear and not cumbersome. I would stay again should the cleanup improve.

This unit was the perfect selection for my friend and I. The other units around were super respectful and friendly. The area is very private and safe. Very local to many of the great restaurants and places to visit in San Juan. So many walkable nice restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The place was very clean, just as describe in the photos and listing. The space was so cozy and spacious. The pool area is very beautiful and quiet. Only little downside was that we had to buy certain products for the upkeep of the house such as paper towels and dish soap but very minuscule inconvenience to go buy since everything is so close. Overall I would definitely choose to stay here once again when back in the city. 10/10 recommend, very happy. 😁
Highly recommend Otium’s place.
Highly recommend Otium’s place. It was so clean and beautifully decorated on the inside. The amenities were just as described, easy parking, beautifully clean pool, and so well appointed. The balcony was a really nice place to relax and unwind and it was so quiet and peaceful. Our group enjoyed the space very much and had so much fun walking less than 10 minutes to the beach. Plus it was conveniently located so close to many great restaurants. We were very happy with this rental and would recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in San Juan! The place was spotless—everything was so clean and well-maintained, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which really added to the overall great experience. The location couldn’t have been better—there were fantastic restaurants and beautiful beaches within walking distance, so we could easily explore the area without any hassle. Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a trip to San Juan!

Everything was perfect only downside was the check in. The check in is already late in the afternoon and there’s an extra charge for early checked when most Air B&B check in are at 3pm. But the issue with check in was that we had to wait about an hour for the room to be inspected before we were able to get in to our room. But overall it’s a beautiful place, in a great centralized location and the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive if anything is needed.
Could not have been more satisfied
Could not have been more satisfied with our stay at Otium’s The Weekender. Stephen was so kind and helpful, the place was extremely clean and kept well. The addition of the bar and service from Hector was perfect for relaxing at the hotel property (cocktails were on point). The pool was great to sit in after a beach day. The only thing to note is the bathroom and toilet are technically in the room that we stayed. There was a one separating wall, something we were able to adjust to. Maybe the other rooms were different. Nonetheless a perfect stay, we greatly appreciated the house keeping who also went out of her way and offered to dry my bathing suit when she saw me laying it out to dry while packing. The extra attention to detail were noted and we will absolutely be back and will be recommending to friends for future travel.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Two nicely sized rooms, only one bathroom in our unit but we made it work. The backyard pool area is absolutely stunning and so nice to lounge around in and take pictures! The location was better than expected with plenty restaurants, hotels, walgreens, beach only 2 blocks away, and old san juan less than 15 mins away. Hosts are responsive. No washer dryer in the unit, but not a big issue.

Very close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and a nice pool in the yard. The shared outside space was a pleasant place. It looked how it did in the pictures. It was clean but the maintenance in general was a little disheartening- we had no hot water our entire stay, the key pad had no power. The Otium staff responds in a timely manner, even if it’s to say they have no update. If we had no added stressful issues, the stay would’ve been 5 stars.

Quanto ao quarto: Nosso quarto era térreo, os demais hóspedes passavam gritando, falando alto, rindo, batendo o portão de entrada o tempo todo. Em qualquer horário, não houve sossego. Chão sujo, impossível pisar descalço, porque parecia uma cola de tanta sujeira. Ar condicionado de difícil regulagem. Ou super gelado ou quente. A cozinha é bem equipada, espaço bom, geladeira grande. Boas toalhas de banho e itens de higiene. Quanto a localização Super bem localizado, perto de tudo (mercados, farmácias, praia, restaurantes). Por causa disso, super barulhento. Carros 24h por dia buzinando, freiando e com muito barulho. Nosso quarto era térreo (n 101 – Studio 1 com cama queen), e ao lado fica um bar/restaurante com música alta e pessoas gritando madrugada a dentro. Na nossa primeira noite (sábado), houve música altíssima e gritaria até 3am. Não dormimos, não conseguimos descansar. A experiência foi desagradável. Não vale o preço que custa. Teria pago o dobro do valor por um lugar que tivesse silêncio e pudesse relaxar. Demais hóspedes completamente sem educação. Passavam ao lado do quarto cantando, gritando e falando alto. Em qualquer horário, seja durante o dia ou de madrugada. O portão de acesso aos quartos é de ferro, e faz muito barulho. As pessoas batiam este portão com toda a força, gerando muito barulho. Foi muito desrespeitoso. Até briga entre mulheres nos ouvimos, com gritaria e xingamentos. Provavelmente estavam alcoolizadas.
Otium’s was amazing.
Otium’s was amazing. The location is perfect, surrounded by great brunch spots and coffee shops. It is a short 5 minute walk to a very active beach. The best part of the stay is the Otium team – they are very responsive and provided great suggestions on things to do in the area!
