It was a great stay, the place is beautiful. It has two balconies, very clean very bohemian style home. The only thing is there weren’t enough towels or blankets so make sure you bring. Besides that the neighborhood is pretty nice, you can see the airplane flying by and you have local shops around you. It’s worth staying here

Overall a pretty decent place to stay. Walkable, nice pool, easy beach access. Highly communicative host. Only real issue is that the water pressure and temperature in the shower was pretty bad. The building looked very old though so not sure if there is much to be done about that.

Excelente lugar. Una experiencia con tremendo vive local. A pasos de restaurantes, cafés, bares, playa, cine, Placita de Santurce, farmacias, supermercados etc. Muy limpio, cómodo y seguro. Las terrazas tienen una vista impresionante. El anfitrión nos brindó una atención excelente. Nos encantó. Volveremos seguro.

Apartment was as described rite on the beach.on the main strip as all hotels and good restaurants.I would say the only reason I gave 4 stars is because the bed kept falling in and the shower water was cold didn’t get warm

We had a balcony but some chairs would have been great so we could sit out there as there were no chairs inside either so if we wanted a meal we had to either sit on the bed or stand. Other than that the place was good. Good location for Isla verde beach and restaurants and to get out onto the main road if you’re exploring the island. Pool was nice.

Very nice location next to the beach and walkable to some restaurants. Transportation very easy via Uber, just have to inform drivers of where the gate entrance is. The apt has everything you need for a nice stay. There are annoying roosters all over PR that decide to wake you up but was still able to have a restful sleep all evenings. There is construction going on in the neighborhood but it was never loud in the early mornings or late evenings. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend this spot especially considering how expensive the local hotels are for what little you get!
Locations is a hidden GEM.
Locations is a hidden GEM. Location is very secure around with surrounding locations. Villa was clean and very well decorated. Small things like a welcome basket as a nice touch! I contacted the agent on several occasions and the replies were immediate. Even via videochat. Take advantage of the Late checkout, for only $39 bucks we were able to stay til 8pm to catch our 10pm flight. I will be visiting this location again.

The location is amazing!
The location is amazing! Easy to get to Old San Juan, Condado, Calle Loiza, beaches to the west and walkable to the popular bistro cafe. Spacious place with 2 restrooms. It was quiet in the evening so you can get a good nights rest. Great for family traveling together. The building security is super nice. I would note to be a bit quiet when walking through the halls because there can be an echo and you want to be respectful to other residents/guests.

Otium’s place was spacious and exactly like the pics. Location was in a gated area so felt safe and for the most part quiet, except for a dog barking on one night from a neighboring home. Other than that, pretty quiet location. Host was very responsive and checked-in with us very often. We had some bathroom issues with the drain being clogged the first night there, host fixed the issue right away. Also, we received lots of recommendations for places to eat and sightsee. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting PR again! Thank you for having us!

Had a great stay here! The communication was excellent and the host was so attentive. I liked the location and the convenience. The view and the sound of the waves were the cherry on top!

Great spot, a little confusing with two gate entrance but they communicated right away to get in. Once there, everything was great.. met neighbors right away, like minded and nice travelers. I’m from Puerto Rico and will use this as my getaway from here on out. Nice pool, great location.. minimal and modern and my only recommendation is you have more bedding available and and extension chord for hair dryer.. also the gate key should be put on a necklace or w bigger tag. They could be lost easily and it’s a necessity to get it without a car.. none of these things can’t be a deterrent, they would just help.. all in all. My favorite spot so far in Ocean Park/ Isla Verde.. great stay and will most definitely be back!! Totally recommend!

A little loud at night due to the window design but overall very nice stay. I felt super safe and the apartment had everything I needed. The rooftop was an awesome bonus. Easy walk to get food and to the famous La Placita.

The adorable villas at Otium were just as described. Miguel or Manuel, (perdoname no me recuerdo) was patient and descriptive as we wandered around trying to find the entrance. Once we got into the property, we were immediately greeted by the Ocean! Stunning view! There is tide pool type areas one can soak their feet & admire some crabs, kitties, and views of the closest beach (Isla Verde/Carolina Beach, short walk-through nature or access through street). There is a skate park next to the entrance which was (for us) a rad addition to the stay. Levi’s restaurant across the street from the Air BnB had great tostones, stews, & cold beer. 787 coffee has great coffee and kind staff. If you enjoy creamy coffee Coquito Latte is a must! Overall, the Boricuas at Otium & the Island want you to enjoy Puerto Rico as much as they do! Our stay was simple, we didn’t ask for much our counterparts at the villa mentioned how attentive and responsive the staff was. Please don’t hesitate to stay here!

Despite being experienced international travelers, this one was our first experience with an airbnb and it was a truly positive one. Otium Rentals made our staying at Villa Playa en Isla Verde, Carlina, PR, a memorable pleasant experience. Aside an issue with the padlock at the gate and an improvable higher water pressure, everything was outstanding. The space is ample, luminous, neat and comfortable. The property is nested in a small, private and quiet community, at a short walking distance to Isla Verde Beach and close to shops and restaurants. Our place had large windows, which let in plenty light and ocean breeze, and even the sound of the ocean waves, and a view of the ocean ! Also, the management and personnel (Angel, Luis Miguel, Juan Miguel,…) were approachable, responsive, and eager to help. We reported a need for a repair and the Manager came in that evening.They make us feel welcome and appreciated. Over all, it was a great value and a pleasant memorable experience!

Great value for money. 10 mins walk to beach. 10 minutes drive to Old Sanjuan. Close to places that we were interested in spending time. The apartment was very clean. Loved the roof top setup. Host is very responsive.

our 9 day stay here was nothing short of perfect! the location was beautiful and everything was easily accessible! the beach was a short 5 minute walk at most! towels, life vests, and chairs were provided for beach use! will definitely book here again for our next return to San Juan!

Place was exactly like the pictures. Very clean as well. You can walk right to the beach and the spot is more private than other areas on the beach. Everything we needed was provided. We even lost power on our first full day and host was very responsive to let us know what was going on and offered to bring us extra water and a battery pack to charge our phones. Luckily power was restored fairly quickly and we didn’t need those but it was really nice of them to offer! We did request extra pillows and they brought them right up. The only thing I didn’t like was that the water in the shower was lukewarm at best (runs off a small heater in the closet, honestly the kitchen sink water for some reason was warmer than the shower. Not sure if shower handle was broken or what) and I like my showers hot,hot! Will definitely book through Otium again!

Apartment was very clean and looked like pictures, door man was friendly and helpful. Building is back off the street which kept it very quiet, George it’s views. Some construction going on but great quiet safe place.

Great location for parking the car and walking to beach and restaurants or just a short car ride to just about anything else you want. The pool after a day at the beach to jump in and feel refreshed was great. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

I would give Otium’s place 5 stars. Here are the top things that we really enjoyed/valued. 1. Very close to the beach and park 2. Secure building with key access to get into the parking lot, front door of the building, and up the elevator 3. Very spacious apartment with lots of seating 4. Kitchen with everything you could possibly need 5. Comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms 6. Owner was very responsive I would definitely recommend this place.

Muy conveniente para el uso de Taxis o Uber. El dueño es un hombre muy joven, que lo considero un gran ejemplo de éxito y superación para toda la juventud local y de otros países. Demuestra un gran nivel de madurez emocional y profesionalismo esforzándose constantemente para mejorar la estructura.

Excellent space. Check in is a little tricky, but after you get in, you realize how clear the instructions were. Otium also followed up throughout our trip.

If you’re looking for an home-like stay sans the hotel feel, this place is for you. I (and my family) thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The host is phenomenal! They offer a guide once you’ve booked, as well as detailed instructions on how to find and access the home. Response time was also A+. We were unsure of how to convert the sofa into a bed and messaged the host. They responded within minutes with a detailed video. They even followed up the next day to make sure all was well. The home is in a local neighborhood, which is what we wanted…as we were not interested in being in a tourist area. Great restaurants are within walking distance and there are even more options if you’re willing to walk longer than 15 minutes (which we did our last day). I definitely plan to book the next time I stay in San Juan. Thank you again!

The positives: Free on-street parking right out front. Gated community. Walking distance to the beach. Quiet––we hardly saw anyone else and we definitely did not hear them. Nice size pool in the courtyard. Nice hot shower. The negatives: There are no chairs for the kitchen table (maybe they will fix this because it would make such a difference!) so you have to eat sitting on a bed. The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy at first, but we found it completely safe and convenient. There is an acai bowl place right across the street and the BEST coffee at 787 Coffee a block away. Grocery store is walkable (maybe 10 minutes) and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The host was very responsive except when the dryer stopped working (and I had a load of wet towels to dry). I did not hear back from them so we hung them in the apartment. All in all, we were happy with the place.

Wonderful Place. Only the parking is outside and some times the Parking you can’t find maybe because the handyman use the parking outside. The tv was without remote control and they bring out 2 days before I go but never work because the wifi Connection don’t connect to the TV and nobody comes to help. So No TV
