The property is very nice and modern. Amenities were nice like the pool, gym, patio furniture and bar. Staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations. I would rate this place as 5/5 stars but the restroom set up in our room wasn’t ideal. There was no door to the shower or restroom so everything gets wet and stays wet given the climate of the area (hot and humid). The ac worked great but there was no ventilation to let out the moisture. The floor gets very slippery. Also, we stay for 5 nights and didn’t get our roomed cleaned. We kept putting the sign out on the door to get cleaning service while we were out for the day and nothing. When I asked about it, staff said they were short staffed and would get to it but they never did. The room next to us got cleaned everyday we were there so it didn’t make sense. That is why I can’t give it an excellent rating. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

my stay at The Weekender was wonderful. I did have my original booked casita changed right before check-in but didn’t mind ending up in casita #5. good vibes during the day, relaxing sleep at night. coqui frogs sound so nice at night. parking could be a little “iffy” for some but understandable considering location, I personally didn’t have any issues. super clean, smells wonderful, friendly staff, comfortable stay. rooms are nice and cold. beds are comfy! check in was quick and easy. close to so many beaches and viejo san juan. walkable spots! this will def be my go-to airbnb when traveling alone. i visited PR alone and i think this location was ideal for a solo female. felt safe and loved that the gates are locked. neighbor area also felt safe!!! totally recommend

Place was perfect! Host was great! And loveddddd the view every morning! 10/10! The ONLY downfall was the parking. It was such a headache every day. Each day you have to go downstairs and validate parking before you can leave the parking garage, then they constantly gave us a hard time, trying to double charge us acting like we didn’t pay the day before… it was very very very annoying (This part isn’t the owner’s fault. The owner and property were great! Just something to be mindful of)

When I tell you if I could choose this as my location to stay in San Juan everytime I visit, I would! Pictures dont even do this place justice, so peaceful, beautiful & aesthetically pleasing the host was wonderful. Having our own private pool with this specific booking makes it 10x better on top of the public pool for this hotel. Bartender was wonderful as well although he has just started working there! Perfect walk away from the beach, mini market around the corner, loved stopping at Lela’s eatery in the morning as well. Although there were very few cons I would still recommend to everyone. While we stayed here the water did go out for a couple of hours one night but this was in the entire surrounding area. The shower head was also a minor flaw due to the water spewing out in all different directions & the shower does not close so the water was constantly getting on the bathroom floor so the one matt wasn’t enough. But overall one of the best airbnb’s i have stayed at & i’m picky
The apartment was very complete
The apartment was very complete, we were greeted with a bottle of wine, water and snacks. The kitchen has everything you need, including salt and pepper. A large refrigerator and everything you need for cooking. The living room is very spacious, with board games, puzzles, magazines and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable, ideal mattresses and very nice pillows. The wonderful air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom is good, a little small, but good with everything you need. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and good walking distance to restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets. A SAFE neighborhood. The exterior is very well maintained with a common terrace upstairs and a nice (small) pool, but enough to give you a refreshing swim. It also has a roof that protects you from the sun. Definitely a super cool place!!
I absolutely loved my stay
I absolutely loved my stay in this apartment in Old San Juan! I’m very particular about where I stay, I like to walk to tourist attractions and experience what the locals do. I looked at this place again and again before finally booking it, and I’m so glad I did. I stayed for five days, and it was just perfect for me. It’s a spacious two room & bathroom apartment, with a large bedroom, roomy living and kitchen area, and a good-sized, comfortable bathroom. It was cozy, clean, and felt just right. My husband came in once or twice during my stay, and even with both of us there, it still felt roomy. The location was unbeatable, everything was walkable, and I truly felt like I was living in Old San Juan, not just visiting. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. If I’m ever back in San Juan, this is definitely where I’ll be staying again. No doubt about it.

This place is nice and beautiful, almost everything is in a walking distance , Ubers were no more than $5 almost all the time You would only ever go over $5 if you were going towards old San Juan or the mall Friendly staff and the rooms were really nice , the only thing to look out for is that the rooms aren’t assigned , they give you what’s available and ready when you get there , so if you see for example a bath robe in the room when booking or like a work desk or a vanity , your room might not come with that , all depends on what’s available when you check in.

Súper convenient spot
Súper convenient spot to stay the weekend in San Juan. Centrally located, lots to do and see within walking distance. Has all the basic amenities you’d need to be comfortable.
Let me start off with the pros for one.
Let me start off with the pros for one. The location is great being so close to Walgreens and the beach was a very convenient part of the location. La Placita was a little bit further, but not too far more of a 12 minute walk. The kitchen is spacious so are the bedrooms. Keyless entry was a plus as well. This place is ideal if you’re looking to be close to the beach and to enjoy the nightlife with your friend. Now the cons: living room is very cramped. There is no closet in the master bedroom will be nice if there was a garment rack at least the nozzle on in the master bathroom is hard to function and it comes off times. Wi-Fi signal is very weak if you’re at certain parts of the apartment. Need Wi-Fi extenders . First night arriving I didn’t receive the access code, but the communication was fast and quick and I was able to get the access code pretty quickly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay if you’re looking to be by the beach and party this will be a great place to stay .
