We enjoyed our stay at Otiums place in San Juan. It was centrally located between Old San Juan and Condado which made it easy to get around. For a studio apt it was just enough to enjoy the stay comfortably with a great view from the balcony. The host was friendly and quick with communication, the desk attendants were also friendly and helpful. We had issues with the fridge not working and the AC leaking, it caused some stress and anxiety but we still had a great stay. Would definitely book again if those issues get fixed!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was lovely and comfortably accommodated our family of five. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made family meals easy. The location was perfect—there were lots of great places to eat nearby, it was within walking distance to the beach, and there was plenty to do. The host was fantastic; they were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our entire trip. Highly recommend!
Breathtakingly beautiful and spacious, modern, clean apartment

Beautiful apartment which looks better than the photos even. Immaculately clean, modern and very spacious. Breathtaking view from the balcony and bedrooms of the ocean. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in perfect condition. If you are having any doubts about booking this, don’t think and go ahead!
Negative:
Security staff can be difficult to work with during check in process esp with regards to wanting IDs for every guest and requesting verification calls from the host.
Our stay with Otium was excellent
Our stay with Otium was excellent. The host was responsive before, during and after our stay. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and was promptly resolved. The apartment was in great condition and exactly as described in the listing. Great location in Condado, my family and I felt very safe during our stay. Apartment is close to many shops and restaurants on Ashford. Would book again and recommend to others.

Mountain-side spot with views of El Yunque. Great base for exploring the east coast. It’s residential, so shop at Walmart first; a gas station is 10 mins away. This renovated 3-bedroom is perfect for groups, featuring new furniture, a desk, and ample storage. Parking is easy; laundry is coin-op. A/C is strong, though the ground floor feels humid. We had plumbing issues (clogged sink/toilet), so the sewage system needs work and the open shower design always make a puddle on the floor. We suggest to offer more towels . The support team was lightning-fast. Good value!

I found the apartment to be rather expensive for the amenities it provided. The air conditioning unit in the master bedroom was quite noisy, and I found the beds to be a bit firm for my personal preference. On a positive note, the noise from outside was minimal. However, the sofa in the living room appeared to be in need of a thorough cleaning due to some visible stains or dirt. Despite these points, its proximity to the beach, restaurants, and bars was very convenient.

The apartment was clean and really well laid out. They definitely take care of the place. Getting into it was a bit of a pain but once in all good and the booking staff were quick to pick our calls for assistance.

We’re a family of four and stayed in this house for a week. We had a wonderful experience and the marina view from the house is absolutely amazing. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the location is excellent, with easy access to Marina Bay, and Seven Seas Beach.
There were also several great seafood restaurants nearby and you should try them.
The host was fantastic and checked in with us from day one to make sure everything was going well. We would definitely stay here again.
Old hotel was a 2 Star at best
Old hotel was a 2 Star at best. Smelled of mold/mildew. The address given is actually for 4 different hotels, when I asked for clarification none was given just the same answer twice. Felt like my questions were being answered by AI. Parking was also unclear and the recommendation from the girl at the counter was for a run down, parking lot of a closed motel that looked like it came from a horror movie. The room was sufficient but not worth the price.

The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and the proximity to the beach was great. Only drawbacks was the AC makes a loud noise after about 10 mins so we couldn’t have it on at night. Only the fan. Also, the blinds were opaque and the lights in the parking lot are very bright so if you need dark to sleep, this might not be the place for you.

The place was basic but (no living room) in a great location for restaurants and the beach. The place was actually 2 condos with a door between, we didn’t realize this when renting. The host was very helpful and dropped off more chairs and towels when requested. One thing to note was that the place is on the Main Street into Condondo, so there is a lot of traffic and noise – might not be a great place with little ones or if your a light sleeper.
The place was perfect for our family of 5 (three teens)!
There’s a lot to love about this place
There’s a lot to love about this place. Great space and gorgeous setting. The condo is bigger than it looks online. The pool area is amazing and not crowded at all. We had no trouble finding chairs and umbrellas, even during the busy Christmas break week. The beds are super comfortable and the couch is heaven. My only complaint is that I felt a little nickel and dimed during my stay. This is one of the more expensive units in the area and I still had to go out and buy more beach towels (there were only 3 provided), a bottle opener, extra paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. There was also a fee to check out 2 hours late. No deal breakers that would keep me from recommending the place, but those little things are what keeps this from being five stars for me.
Heads up to families who want to cook – there is no baking gear at all, bring your own pans/foil/oven mitts. There are plenty of pots and pans if you want to use the stove top.

Some minor issues with the entry instructions that were confusing. However the staff helped us with our difficulties and resolved everything quickly on the phone. . The only other thing is we would have been grateful for extra towels as it felt not enough for us for our stay.
Great location, easily walked to the beach daily
Great location, easily walked to the beach daily. An easy walk into or out of old san juan as well – roughly 35 minutes. Room looks exactly like the photos. Host is very responsive to any issues. Balcony has a beautiful view across to Condado lagoon. Grocery store is a 15 minute walk away. Overall it was a great stay.
Very pleasant stay in a neighborhood that we liked.
Positive:
The breakfast was nice and efficient. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. There are several really delicious restaurants nearby including Budare and La Pradera. The t Mobile district is an easy 15 minute walk. We never felt unsafe in the area.
Negative:
The rooftop was being renovated so we didn’t get to relax up there. I understand it has to be done sometime.

Spacious 3BR 3 Bath top floor apartment on a great street in Ocean Park with nice views out over the city as well as to the beach. Beds were comfortable. There is a covered deck off the living room. The location was a highlight – being able to stroll down the street to a terrific locals beach, to yoga classes in the morning, and to a dozen great eating spots on Calle Loiza and beyond. The kitchen was a minor letdown. Although the listing mentions a dishwasher, suprisingly for such a large apartment there wasnt one, even though there was a built in wine cooler. This was not a big deal for us, but the dishrack was undersized for a family of 4, and there were no proper dishcloths. An easy fix. The deck would be even nicer if there was some soft seating or a small table – as is there are just a couple of plastic chairs. Be prepared for some construction noise during the day, as there are a couple of building being renovated on the street. Hot water was a bit spotty.Would stay again

We would have said great (5) on everything except for an issue with the hall bath which was used by two teenage nieces and their parents. The design was such that water could escape onto the bathroom floor. Otium quickly provided extra towels but we feel the unit needs to be permanently corrected in that area. Until it is corrected, we recommend extra towels be provided for that bathroom from the start for safety reasons.
