beautifully renovated place. Extremely peaceful, clean. Only thing missing was knife, microwave, and hand soap. We had to be creative to cut food to cook. Everything else was great. If I had known, I would have booked the place for longer and done day trips all around the island from here. spectacular view of El Yunque from the place. 10 minute drive down into town, Ceiba. 20 min drive to the ferry. It’s a lovely place. I would definitely stay again if I come to Puerto Rico in the future.

Enjoyed our stay in Unit 1, it has a nice layout, the kitchen, dining room, living room and 1 bathroom on the 1st floor. Up the spiral staircase to the 2nd floor is the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an enclosed private balcony which faces the street, which was peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There is an A/C unit in the bedroom and the living room and a couple of fans. It was equipped with everything we needed, very clean and modern. Nice ocean view from the shared balcony. Enjoyed the shared pool and the parking on the property was a bonus. Check in and Check out instructions were easy and clear, and the host was responsive.

The space was cleaning, quiet, and cozy. I only had difficulty getting up the stairs because I had luggage and was traveling on my own, but the location was great, with a quick direct walk to the beach down the street it is on, as well as a quick Uber ride to many places.

This was a fantastic location located just 6 houses away from the beach. Great amenities including a shower in the garage after coming back from the beach. Washer/dryer in the penthouse. Great shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Construction noise in the morning starting around 7am on other homes on the street getting renovated. We were charged a separate $25 non-refundable fee the day before we were checked into the penthouse. Seemed discordant with AirBnB’s policy. However, great location and property!

Must stay!!! It’s so beautiful, well kept and walking distance to many restaurants/shops. They were kind and very helpful! Totally worth it. PS: The room in the listing may not be the one you receive. Mine was smaller but still great. Only drawback is the rain shower head (not a fan) and the half glass shower stall. The half glass doesn’t block very well, but all new homes/hotels seem to be using it.

Amazing stay! Looked exactly like the pictures. Every staff member was so kind, friendly, and willing to help with any and everything. Genesis helped us check in and helped make sure our trip went smoothly. The area is very quiet and safe located next to Calle Loiza which has so many walkable restaurants, stores, and things to do. Every amenity that is listed is up to par and even little extra things included like water and chips. I would recommend to anyone staying in San Juan and wants to be able to freely walk and travel to places. The locals were all so sweet and happy to help or teach about the history and culture. This place seems new on Airbnb so we were skeptical at first but it is one of the best places i’ve stayed.

This was my first time being in PR. Because we had such a wonderful Airbnb with amazing restaurants around us, walkable distance to the beach and great music at a close by park, i would 100% come back. would recommend to friends and family but i prefer to keep the place to myself😁

This stay was amazing! It was as described, check in was simple, apartment was clean and very welcoming. Mary was a great host, offered many suggestions for things to do around the neighborhood, and gave clear instructions on how to check in. The neighborhood was beautiful with a beach close by and many restaurants nearby. Navigating the area was easy and ubers were easily accessible.

This is a great location for a family reunion or retreat. Each floor has its own kitchen, Living space and bedrooms. The 3rd floor penthouse is ideal for group gatherings while providing privacy for all the guests. The house is modern and well kept. More importantly, just steps from the beach.

Me and my family of 2 had a lovely time at Sophie’s place. For a short, last-minute trip, this was a great home to stay in. Sophie and her team were proactive, friendly, and helpful in communication. The home was as depicted in the photos. There is room for improvement, however. The stove has a crack, and we had to Google how to use it. There were pots, but not a frying pan, so cooking was interesting. The upstairs toilet seat was too small and loose. To get to the sandiest/seatbale part of the beach, we drove, and didn’t walk. It was not swimmable – best for sun and getting feet wet. Most importantly, the pool steps/ladder should be revisited. They were VERY unsafe and shaky. A few times we climbed up and got in and then the stairs detached in half. We were lucky there were 3 of us to fix and spot for each other. I would also include a photo of the pool in the listing, as we asked for one after booking. Knowing what to expect + with Sophie’s great team, I’d consider staying again!

Beautiful place, everything looks really nice. Staff were respectful and friendly. Only shame is the parking. We were lucky and found a spot right in front of the hotel, so we uber everywhere to not have to deal with that. Pool was nice and spacious. Rooms and bed where clean and showers had nice cold and hot water. Great stay in a close area to everything.

I give it 10 out of 10. We definitely loved it, everything was very clean and the place is exactly as shown in the photos… We hope to return on our next vacation…

Mary was a very responsive host. Really appreciate the communication. Early check in and late check out come with an additional fee. This was the first time I experienced this by Mary was very honestly throughout it. The Airbnb will likely get filled with sand given that it’s very close to Condado beach. We believe that the Airbnb is in good shape – having the cleaners clean a little more diligently (sand on the floor and dirty white walls) would have been more appreciated at check-in. Overall, a great experience.

This Weekender by Optium exceeded my expectations. Beautiful scenery, peaceful and luxury aesthetic, & cool and clean vibes. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back. And I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to San Juan.
